Le Test d’Évaluation de Français pour l’accès au Québec (TEFaQ) is a general French test which aims to measure the candidate’s level of knowledge and ability in the language. It is the version of the TEF recognized by the Quebec Ministry for Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion (MIDI) and it is essential for an official immigration application.

BLI TEFaQ preparation course is focused on helping you develop the skills you need to succeed on the oral and listening modules of the test. You will work intensively on French language fluency and accuracy, expand your vocabulary and develop your listening skills.

Classes

BLI’s TEFAQ preparation course is focused on helping you develop the skills you need to succeed on the speaking and listening modules of the test. You will work on perfecting fluency and accuracy, expanding your vocabulary and developing your listening skills. At the end of the course you will reach the CEFR B2 level or higher.

All of our teachers are specialized in TEFAQ test preparation. Their methodology has already helped hundreds of students to achieve their goals in a short time and to improve their listening and speaking skills.

The course consists of 4 modules that will help you to progress from a basic level to a B2 level or higher. Additionally, you will be trained to become familiar with the structure of the TEFAQ test.

Requirements

If you already have some French knowledge, you will take a placement test and will be placed in the module that corresponds to your level.

BLI Quebec City campus is official TEFaQ and TEF test venue. Please note that those dates may change. If you are interested in taking the TEFaQ or TEF test, you must follow the steps through the online registration or speak with a representative of BLI for more information.

Homestay

A home away from home Living with a host family is a great and unique way to immerse yourself in the cultures and languages of Canada, for it allows you to live a family experience.

All our host families are carefully selected and have to meet BLI quality criteria. We ensure that all host family houses meet safety and hygiene standards. All BLI homestay families live within a reasonable distance from the school.

Residence

Residence accommodation is an option for students who enjoy the independence and privacy of living on their own. You will have a private or shared room, according to your specific request(s). Kitchen and laundry facilities will be shared with other students. Our student residence is located 10 minutes from our Montreal campus.
